Welding blankets

Welding blankets are used to protect the welder, cars, machines, upholstery and other objects against the welding spatters that occur in the environment where one works.

Good preparation is important before welding begins, to protect the welder and the surrounding environment from the heat and sparks that arise during the welding process.

The choice of the type of welding blanket depends on the task and the surrounding. The most important parameters in the choice of a welding blanket are: temperature resistance (average resistance and peak temperature), one or two-sided protection, the dimensions and the type of protective coating.

The protective coating is important because a welding blanket is not allowed to absorb liquids and chemical products, in order to improve fire resistance and prevent evaporation of harmful substances.

At Fire-Proof we distribute the welding blankets that are made of glass or silicate fibers and meet all European standards. We distribute 3 ranges of welding blankets: premium, economy and basic. You can choose from several models in each range, depending on your needs for both horizontal and vertical applications. The welding blanket is available in several sizes, between 1mx1m and 3mx3m.
