Rf paint

As with fire resistant paints for steel, wood can also be treated with RF paint. Wood will get a better class of fire resistance, after the treatment with a protective flame retardant paint. Normal wood can achieve a better fire class, such as B s2 d0 with this technique.

At Fire-Proof, we also have experience in treating other types of wood and structural components (plywood, pine, OSB, etc.) with flame retardant paints.

The type of fire retardant paint and the amount required are determined by the type of wood or building component. The fire retardant paint on the wood is standard white. A final layer of protection can also be chosen in an RAL color of your choice. The paint can be applied by roller or airless spray, depending on the circumstances.
