CTX fire protection for wooden composites

In our CTX range, there are 2 product lines: EC 2CTX and EC 3CTX.
The EC 2CTX has been developed for standard applications, i.e. wooden surfaces that are not exposed to regular mechanical stress, such as interior building ceilings in West-European countries. The EC 2CTX is to be applied on the site.
EC 2CTX Base Coat:
This is an opaque and water based fire protecting coating for surface treatment of interior wooden structures with no direct contact.
EC 2CTX Top Coat:
A transparent and solvent based top coating for the EC 2CTX base coat. The use of the EC 2CTX top coat is necessary to protect the properties of the EC 2CTX base coat.
Applying 260 μ wet base coat and 50 μ wet top coat results in a fire classification Euroclass B – s1 – d0.

The EC 3CTX is a transparent coating with improved scratch resistance, developed for interior wooden structures such as doors and furniture. EC 3CTX can be applied before transportation.
EC 3CTX Base Coat:
Is a transparent and water based fire protecting coating for surface treatment of interior wooden structures with direct contact.
EC 3CTX Top Coat:
This is a transparent solvent based top coating. The use of the EC 3CTX top coat is necessary to protect the properties of the EC 3CTX base coat.
Applying 230 μ wet base coat and 55 μ wet top coat results in a fire classification Euroclass B – s1 – d0.

The CTX products are not suitable for flooring and exterior applications.
